" It’s been an amazing journey to watch my son grow and develop as he’s been apart of this organization.
He’s gone from being hard to handle because he would shut down when he became frustrated or upset,
to the point where he’s able to communicate with calm reasoning about what’s happened or what he
doesn’t understand. The instructors have been very patient and consistent with him. They learned his
language of communication and met him where he was to get him to where they needed him to
become. They saw a light in him that we all knew existed and they managed to allow him to shine in his
own way. He’s very determined, eager, and quick witted. He really has a heart of gold. This is one
sacrifice that I gladly make monthly to ensure that he continues to learn responsibility, positive
communication, interaction skills, building his self-esteem, and his belief in his own self-worth. I can
attest that this has been a journey but one that we truly all worked together to see bring about a great
kid. He is motivated not just at the dojang but also improving his relationships at school with teachers and
peers. He’s learning to become more positive in his responses as well as learning how to problem solve
situations that he encounters. I couldn’t have made a better investment for my son because I know that
they aren’t just teaching him skills for today but lifelong skills that he’ll use in the future."
